LX International announced on the 21st that it has obtained the ‘ISO 45001’ certification for its Occupational Health and Safety Management System from the Korean Standards Association (KSA).
ISO 45001 is an international standard in the field of occupational health and safety management established and implemented by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It is awarded to companies that have established a systematic and autonomous management system to predict and prevent various risks that may arise in the workplace.
Recognizing occupational health and safety management as a key element of its corporate operations, LX International has strengthened its safety and health management system to prevent workplace accidents at its key domestic and international business sites.
In 2021, the company established and publicly announced its company-wide occupational health and safety management policy. Since then, it has carried out various initiatives to create a safer work environment, such as ▲conducting workplace risk assessments, ▲launching safety campaigns, and ▲providing safety and health training for employees. Moving forward, LX International plans to further enhance its safety culture leadership, advance its compliance monitoring processes, and strengthen its occupational health and safety management activities.
Previously, the company also obtained certifications for Compliance Management Systems (ISO 37301) and Information security, cybersecurity and privacy protection (ISO 27001), demonstrating its commitment to sustainable business practices.

Meanwhile, the KSA is a global standards and quality management institution established in 1962 under Article 32 of the Industrial Standardization Act. It carries out various initiatives related to standardization, quality management, technological advancement, and talent development.
