SEOUL, June 27 – LX International (CEO Yoon Chun-sung) announced the release of its 2025 Sustainability Report.
Since 2014, LX International has published annual sustainability reports disclosing its strategies, goals, and performance in the areas of Environment (E), Social (S), and Governance (G). This year marks the 12th edition, and it has been published as an interactive PDF to enhance user convenience and accessibility.
In the newly released report, LX International unveiled its ‘2050 Carbon Neutrality Roadmap’, demonstrating a responsible response to rapid environmental changes and climate crises. The company clearly outlined the direction of its ESG management activities toward climate action, environmental risk management, and a sustainable future.
Looking ahead, LX International plans to enhance its ESG data management system. It will establish a foundation for periodic monitoring and integration of ESG data across its global operations. ESG officers will be designated for each domestic and international business site to ensure improved reliability and accuracy of data input and verification.
Based on LX Group’s core values of ‘Connection’, ‘Future’, and ‘People’, LX International is promoting various social contribution initiatives at home and abroad. Key activities include community sports programs at local child centers, wish-granting programs for children with incurable diseases, and environmental clean-up campaigns such as plogging. The company also launched a biodiversity conservation project to protect endangered wildlife inhabiting Jungnangcheon Stream in Seoul. This project will be carried out over a three-year period.
LX International actively incorporates stakeholder feedback into its ESG management. For this year, the company has identified ‘Climate Action’, ‘Talent Acquisition and Development’, ‘Jeong-Do Management’, and ‘Occupational Safety and Health Management’ as key material issues, and plans to focus on related strategy development, risk management, and performance monitoring. Recognizing these efforts, the company was selected by the Korea Exchange as an Excellence in English Disclosure awardee.
In his statement, CEO Yoon Chun-sung emphasized, “ESG management is no longer optional but a strategic necessity,” adding, “We will place the creation of customer value for a sustainable future at the core of our ESG vision, striving to generate positive environmental and social impact while achieving sustainable growth.”
LX International will continue to publish its sustainability report annually to ensure transparent disclosure of its ESG performance and implementation to all stakeholders.
