- Fifth Year of the Kimjang Volunteer Programme… Over 40 Employees Participated
- Kimjang Kimchi Delivered to Senior Citizens Living Alone and Single-parent Families in Jongno-gu
LX International conducted the ‘Kimjang (making and sharing kimchi) for Love’ volunteer activity with more than 40 employees, including members of its in-house volunteer group, LEXT, to support the local community.
The kimchi prepared directly by employees through the Kimjang process will be delivered to senior citizens living alone, single-parent households, and low-income families in Jongno-gu.
Since 2021, LX International has carried out its annual Kimjang volunteer programme, sharing warmth with the local community. This year, the company has further strengthened its social-contribution network through continued cooperation with partners such as the Jongno Welfare Foundation.
Lee Kwon-cheol, head of LEXT, said, “Despite the chilly weather, knowing that the kimchi our employees carefully prepared through Kimjang will be served at our neighbours’ tables warmed my heart.” He added, “LX International will continue to fulfil its corporate social responsibility and pursue shared growth with the community.”
Starting with an environmental cleanup at Inwangsan Mountain in April and biodiversity-conservation efforts along the Jungnangcheon Stream in September, LX International continues to work toward sustainable growth and a better environment for future generations.
